About Us

I’ve been in the technology sector since 1974, approaching my 50th year.  Started Benecom Computer Company, Inc. (dba Technologies) in 1991.  As technology has changed, so have Benecom’s offerings.  I’ve always had an “Open Door” policy to our employees and am always available to discuss business and personal with our “Benecom Family”.

I have been working full time at Benecom since 2009.  But way before that, I remember coming into Benecom on the weekends as early as 8 years old, and would help fill vending machines and clean the building to earn an allowance.  Being around Benecom all my life has helped build a strong work ethic and more importantly, strong family values.  Being the family company that it is, Benecom is a place that I look forward to coming to work at everyday.  I have been the Director of the Low Voltage Department since 2014, and I have been a BICSI Technician since 2016.  When I’m not at work, I am most definitely spending time with my wife Megan and our two boys, Duke and Blake.

I have been with Benecom since 2004 when I decided to leave public accounting for a more flexible and family friendly workplace.  After receiving my BBA in Accounting from Loyola University of New Orleans in 2002, I spent 2 years in external audit for Deloitte, as well as becoming a Certified Public Accountant.  Transitioning to Benecom has been a wonderful experience where I manage payroll, sales tax, and bookkeeping.  I work alongside amazing coworkers, many of which are my “actual” family, and others who are “like” family.  I am married to Jeff Benedic, who is Dave Benedic’s oldest son, and we have 3 children, Kayla, Kady, and Beau.  When I am not at work, I am enjoying a front row seat to the volleyball, softball, basketball, and football circus that our children actively participate in, and my husband somehow manages to coach!  

In 2005, I decided to give up a successful acting career and come work with my best friends.  Nearly 20 years later, I still wake up and look forward to coming to my second home.  Nights and weekend, my wife, Jennifer, and me are usually coaching or watching our kids, Joseph and Jaci, play baseball, volleyball, football, softball and basketball.

I’ve been employed at Benecom since 2000 and have served in many roles here!  Currently I’m working with the Sales Team keeping the team in line, handling contract administration & billing.   When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family—my husband Daniel Sr., my two boys Daniel Jr & Justin, and my three grandchildren, Cambrie, Daniel III, and Sofia

As one of the newest to join Benecom's management team, I am excited to get to apply my knowledge and experience earned over 20+ years in Information Technology! Thirteen years in Fire and EMS culminated in serving as the IT Officer for the largest fire department in St Tammany Parish before coming over to Benecom to lead the fantastic team in the Service Department.

I've been married to my lovely wife for 10 years, and we have two adorable kiddos, ages 5 and 2, and I have the privilege of spending as much of my free time with them as possible!

I've got 20+ years experience in cabling, IT and cameras but my real specialty is business phones.  I can help find the right fit for your business, either cloud-based or traditional PBX.  Give me a call and ask for the good looking new guy!

My career in Structured Cabling started with Benecom in 2015. Working my way from apprentice to Low Voltage Manager I have gained knowledge, skills, and experience to take on any low voltage project that comes our way! Gaining my BICSI Technician credential in 2022 and continually training with our Hanwha and Paxton partners we stay up to date with the latest technology and industry standards. We have a great team here and I’m proud to be a part of the Benecom Family.
