Fargo CardJet Series printers are the printers of choice for
HID proximity cards. That’s because CardJet printers use a
print jet, not a print head, so they can
print on the prox card’s surface without touching it. The
result: maximum image quality across the uneven card
surface.
CardJet Series printers are fully compatible with special
inkjet-receptive ISOProx II cards. This advanced proximity
technology supports up to 85 bits, with more than 137

Compatibility is key
CardJet Series printers provide the perfect fit for
personalizing cards using HID ISOProx II card technology.
The ISOProx II cards used with CardJet printers have a
special surface that’s formulated specifically to receive
CardJet Ink. The technology inside the card can talk to any
HID proximity reader; and a number printed on the outside of
the card matches the programmed ID number, simplifying card
control.
Proximity = capacity = security
Secure ISOProx II technology supports up to 85 bits, with
more 137 billion unique codes to keep you secure. This
proven, reliable access technology also has an extremely
consistent read range.
